Training Schedule

7:00-9:00 morning meditation and bukiwaza (starting time varies according to season). 19:00-20:00 evening taijutsu (Thursdays bukiwaza + taijutsu at the Iwama Budokan). 9:00-11:00 Sunday mornings (9:00-9:45 bukiwaza, 10:00-11:00 taijutsu). There is usually no training on Mondays.

Monthly training fee

JPY 9,000 per month: All evening training sessions and Sunday mornings.
JPY 10,000 per month: morning bukiwaza sessions.
JPY 6,000 per month: Sunday mornings only.

Grading System

Since Iwama Shinshin Aiki Shurenkai started, students belonging to other Dojo (Shadan Hojin Aikikai etc) have been allowed to keep their Dan by equivalence.
However, this policy remains true only for the common students status, and in any case, do not applies as any “instructor level” neither “instructor status”.

Only instructors who succeeded an Iwama Shinshin Aiki Shurenkai Dan examination can deliver an Iwama Shinshin Aiki Shurenkai Dan or Kyu.
Anyone coming from a different Dojo (Shadan Hojin Aikikai etc) who may want to deliver Iwama Shinshin Aiki Shurenkai grades to his/her students
shall successfully validate its actual Dan through a duly Iwama Shinshin Aiki Shurenkai examination. This examination shall take place at Iwama Honbu Dojo
or in a Dojo duly indicated by Saito Hitohiro Jukucho.
